"Dragonlance" litter - update

Brogholme Lightbringer - "Stan"

Stan aged 10 weeks with dad Frank

Tony and Penny Duckworth own the litter's sire, Danmelad Midnight Rebel, aka Frank. They came to see the litter when they were a few weeks old. Even though they had originally planned to have a bitch from the litter, their eyes were drawn to the biggest, chunkiest pup in the litter, a male that they later named Stan. Tony came to collect him a few weeks later and Stan went to live with his dad Frank, aunt Kim and Dollar.

Stan has settled in to his new home really well and is a happy, confident pup. Tony tells me that he is usually well-behaved although he's had some naughty moments!

He will be attending his first show soon and we wish him all the best.

Brogholme Emberbright - "Brandy"

Ciarán worked with Matthew during his summer holidays and so met our dogs on numerous occasions. He began to really like the breed and he and his family asked to have a puppy from us.

Brandy went to live with Ciarán and his family on St. Stephen's day 2006 and has been living with them since.

Ciarán lives quite close to us, just about 10 miles away. We went to see Brandy about a month after he left us. In March and May, Ciarán brought Brandy back to our house for a visit. It was lovely to see him again and he also enjoyed reuniting with his dam, Tika, and sister, Shannon.

Brogholme Flamestrike - "Fred"

Fred seemed to be Tika's favourite puppy. When he was very young, he often slept very close to Tika's face. On one occasion, we saw him fast asleep over Tika's muzzle.

Fred was the first pup to go to his new home and is loved and spoiled by his new owners.

Fred now lives with Ronan and Emma in Co. Wicklow. As this photo shows, he loves going for walks on the beach!

Brogholme Starbreeze - "Rosie"

Rosie's new family came to see the litter when they were quite young. Once Rosie was 8 weeks of age and old enough to leave here, we actually brought her up to her new home in Co. Wicklow. Tika came with us and seemed to show Rosie around the place.

According to her owners, Rosie settled in very quickly and seems to be fitting in like she's always been there. The family have 3 children so Rosie always has someone to play with.
